Version 1.0.0 · released 2026-10-02 · SHA256SUMS

Install in three steps

1. Download and extract

Pick your platform above. Everything the platform needs — database, web server, HTTPS — is inside the download.

2. Run the installer

Windows: in PowerShell, run .\Install-TechSavve.ps1 from the extracted folder.
Linux: sudo sh install.sh.
It asks for your email address — that becomes the one account on the platform.

3. Sign in

Open the address the installer prints and sign in with your email and the preset password ChangeMe123!. You choose your own password straight away.

About the free trial

The trial runs for 30 days from installation and covers up to 100 managed devices, 100 monitors, 2 customer tenants, 4 sites and 5 staff users. When the 30 days are over the platform locks — everything stops except signing in and the license page — until you activate a license. Nothing is deleted. Contact us for a quote.

Common questions

Do I need Docker or anything else installed first?

No. The Linux package installs Docker Engine from the files inside the download, and the Windows package brings its own small Linux environment (it does not touch Docker Desktop or any other WSL distribution you may have).

Why does my browser warn about the certificate?

The built-in HTTPS certificate is self-signed so the platform works the moment it is installed. Install your own certificate whenever you like; the documentation shows how.

Can I run it on a machine with no internet?

Yes. Nothing is downloaded during installation, and licenses can be activated with an offline key.

Is there a hosted option?

Yes — run it yourself on your own Windows or Linux machine, or we can host it for you. Tell us which you prefer.

How do I check my download?

Compare the SHA-256 shown above: sha256sum <file> on Linux, or Get-FileHash <file> in PowerShell. Windows may show a SmartScreen prompt the first time you run the installer from a downloaded file.
