TechSavve RMM vs ConnectWise Automate
ConnectWise Automate is an RMM from ConnectWise that can run on your own server or ConnectWise's cloud. TechSavve RMM is agentless RMM and PSA that you run on your own server. Here is how they differ, and when each one fits.

Where TechSavve RMM is different
No agents to roll out
Place one collector at each customer site and add devices by discovery, import or by hand. Nothing is installed on the servers, PCs and network gear it monitors.
Your server, your data
Run it on your own Linux server, or on Windows for a small office, so customer data stays where you put it. Or have DFWTechPros host it for you.
RMM and PSA in one
Alerts become tickets with SLAs; time and invoices live next to them. Or link tickets to the PSA you already use.
Hypervisors and clouds included
vCenter, Hyper-V, Proxmox and KVM hosts, and AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and five more clouds, with every machine on them found and monitored.
When ConnectWise Automate may suit you better
You run the rest of the ConnectWise stack and want everything from one vendor.
You rely on scripts or plugins written specifically for Automate.
Questions
Can I move from ConnectWise Automate to TechSavve RMM?
Yes. The Getting started page reads your customers, sites and devices from Automate once, shows a preview, and only then creates them. The credentials are not stored.
We use ConnectWise PSA (Manage). Can we keep it?
Yes. TechSavve links every ticket to ConnectWise Manage both ways: status changes and comments go each way, and closing it in one closes it in the other.
