Privacy Policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

DFWTechPros, LLC (“TechSavve”, “we”, “us”) makes TechSavve RMM. This policy explains what we collect when you visit techsavve.com, contact us, download our software, or run the software, and what we do with it.

1. What this policy covers — and what it does not

It covers this website, our download and licensing servers, and the licensing data our software sends us. It does not cover the data you manage with the software. TechSavve RMM runs on servers you control, and we do not receive your monitoring data, device inventory, credentials, tickets, documents or any other customer data from it.

2. What we collect

When you contact us or request a demo. The form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your company, phone number and the size of your environment, plus your message. If you email or call us, we keep what you send us.

Automatically, when you use our websites and servers. Our web servers log your IP address, the time, the page or file requested, the response, and your browser’s user-agent text. We use these logs for security and troubleshooting. Downloads are logged the same way.

Cookies. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not load third-party trackers. Our own staff are given cookies when they sign in to manage the site; visitors are not.

Licensing data from the software. A trial or licensed installation contacts our license server when it is activated and about once a day. It sends: the installation’s Install ID; the identifier of your activation code or license key; the product version; a one-way hash of an identifier of the computer (it cannot be turned back into the identifier, and we use it so that reinstalling does not restart a free trial); and the IP address and time of each request.

Customer records. If you buy a license, we also keep your organization’s name, your contacts’ names and email addresses, and order, license and invoice records.

3. How we use it

  • to answer your questions, give you a demo or a quote, and provide support;
  • to activate and verify licenses, enforce the trial and license limits, and send renewal notices and invoices;
  • to keep our websites and servers secure, and to prevent fraud and abuse;
  • to meet legal and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes.

We only email you about your request, your license or your account.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We use service providers who process it for us under our instructions, such as the companies that host our websites and servers (including Amazon Web Services) and that provide our email (including Microsoft). We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a successor if our business is sold or merged.

5. How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep ordinary business records. We keep licensing data for as long as your trial or license exists and for a reasonable period afterwards, for accounting and to resolve disputes. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

6. Security

Our websites and servers use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing licensing@dfwtechpros.com. Depending on where you live, such as California, the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will respond as that law requires. We will not treat you worse for using these rights.

8. Children

Our websites and software are for businesses and IT professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Where your information is processed

We are in the United States, and the information described here is processed and stored in the United States.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date.
